Pressure to Birth Naturally

Don’t let anyone pressure you into a birth you are not comfortable with.

Breech birth is a higher risk birth. How much higher depends on a lot of things, many of which you can’t predict. In certain circles there is a lot of pressure to avoid as much of a medical birth as possible. You should know the latest research and as much as you can about your options, but anyone who makes you feel guilty for choosing a cesarean for a breech baby does not have your best interest in mind. Know who is available to help you and their skill level. Know your own heart and know the research. Listen to the discussion about breech birth and make the decision you think is best.
