Get Certified!
Familiarize yourself with the options for women with breech babies and be prepared to help when needed.
What You Do
STEP ONE:
Read the Breech Baby Handbook, a pdf that will be emailed to you along with the other materials. Use these materials to familiarize yourself with the options for turning a baby as well as reasons some women choose not to. Get comfortable with the data and climate around breech birth, both vaginal and cesarean.
STEP TWO:
Think about your role as a friend of breech babies in your community. Make some calls and connections to find out who the professionals are that work in your area. Which chiropractor or hypnotherapist should you send women with a breech baby to? Does anyone in your area offer vaginal breech birth? Make a list of a few local resources.
STEP THREE:
Complete the friendly certification form which includes a quiz to test yourself on breech knowledge. If you get 70% or more of the questions correct, no further action is necessary. If you seem to need clarification on some of the issues I will email you with that and we’ll get you squared away.

“My first mama has come to me at 33 weeks and they say the baby is breech! Do you know how much better I felt being able to provide her the information I learned! I did not have to search all over the place. She was very impressed when I shared your website with her and referenced some of your information. She is seriously considering switching to one of the doctors I found here in Atlanta that supports breech births. I feel so good being new but having the information that I need. Thank you.”

This program greatly expanded my knowledge and allowed me to add to the surplus of knowledge I already have. Breech babies happen, I’m sure that I will come across more breech babies in my career and I’m glad I am prepared.
